The nearest railway station from Jawhar is Igatpuri (61 km). But it is better to reach the destination from Nasik. Jawhar is 90 km from Nasik. Regular bus services are available in this route. Hired cars are also available.

Papikondalu

Papikondalu is a beautiful place situated near Rajahmundry of Andhra Pradesh. On the bank of River Godavari, the place is blessed with unparalleled scenery. One can visit Papikondalu for a day or two from Rajamundri. You have to reach Pattiseema from Rajahmundry by hired car. The launch ride on Godavari River will start from there. The ride will end at Perenta Palli. Then the launch will return back to Pattiseema. Best time to visit Popikondalu is October to April.

Jageshwar

Jageshwar is an offbeat hill spot in the state of Uttarakhand. Actually Jageshwar is not a hill station. It is a hamlet situated on the banks of Jataganga river. The place is surrounded by forests of Devdaru trees. The prime attraction of this village is the Jageshwar Temple. Other temples include Dandeshwar Temple, Mrityunjay Temple, Navadurga Temple, Kuber Temple, Sun Temple etc. You can also visit Chaukori from Jageshwar. Jog Waterfalls

Jog Waterfalls is a mind blowing waterfalls in Karnataka. In this falls, the Sharavathi river is seen falling from a height of 253 m in 4 segments or streams. The names of these streams are Raja, Rani, Rocket and Roarer. Post monsoon, the beauty of Jog Waterfalls increases several manifolds. A new attraction of Jog Falls is the Laser Light Show. One can witness this amazing show every evening from 7 pm to 9 pm.
