Radhanagar

Radhanagar is a village in Arambagh subdivision of Hooghly district of West Bengal. It is the birthplace of the renowned social reformist Raja Rammohun Roy. The ancestral home of Raja Ram Mohan Roy is one of the main attractions of the place. In front of the house there is a memorial hall, the architecture of which was planned by the famous Bengali poet and writer Rabindranath Tagore. A Dolmanch is situated near the hall. You can take a stroll to Raghunathpur where you will find mango orchards with lots of mango trees that were planted by Raja Ram Mohan Roy. In winter, one can get permit for picnic inside the mango orchards of Raghunathpur.

Zurrantee Tea Estate (also spelled as Juranti Tea Estate) is a beautiful tea garden which is a 2 hours drive from town of Siliguri in West Bengal. Antpur

Antpur is a village in Hooghly district of West Bengal. It consists of eight smaller villages namely Tara, Bamnagar, Kumarbazar, Dharampur, Ranibazar, Anarbati, Bilara and Lohagachhi. The place hosts an array of temples. The most famous temple of Antpur is the Radhagobinda Temple with exquisite terracotta carvings on its walls. The temple is 100 ft tall with various scenes from mythology as well as everyday life depicted on small terracotta panels on the walls of the temple. The Chandi Mandap and Dol Mancha have beautifully crafted wood carvings. Beside the main temple, there are five Shiva temples which also exhibit terracotta work. Pocharam Wildlife Sanctuary

Pocharam Wildlife Sanctuary is situated at a distance of 15 km from Medak and 120 km from Hyderabad in the Indian state of Telengana. The forest spans across an area of 130 sq. km. This mixed dry deciduous forest is home to various wild animals and reptiles including panther, sloth bear, wild boar, cheetal, sambar, nilgai, hyena, jackal and python. Ducks, teals, storks, partridges and quails are also spotted at the Pocharam Wildlife Sanctuary. Nagarjunsagar Srisailam Tiger Reserve

Nagarjunsagar Srisailam Sanctuary is one of the largest tiger reserves in India. The reserve spreads over Nalgonda, Mahboobnagar, Kurnool, Prakasam and Guntur districts. Spanning across an area of 3568 sq km, these dry deciduous mixed forests along the Krishna river are home to various wild animals including tiger, panther, sloth bear, wild dog, jackal, fox, wolf, Indian giant squirrel. Other animals found in this sanctuary are cheetal, sambar, black buck, mouse deer, chowsingha, nilgai and wild boar. The best time to visit Nagarjunsagar Srisailam Tiger Reserve is October to May.

Nalhati is a town in Birbhum district of West Bengal. The main attraction of Nalhati is the Nalateshwari Temple. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Parvati. It is one among the 51 Shakti Peeths. Tepania Eco Park

Tepania Eco Park is a wonderful tourist destination in the North East Indian state of Tripura. It is located 5 km from Udaipur on the Udaipur-Agartala road. The park was established in the year 1995, inside the Radhakishorepur Reserve Forest. Covering an area of 155 hectares, the Tepania Eco Park hosts an array of orchids and cactus surrounded by lush green forests. There is an orchid house which showcases more than 225 species of orchids and a cactus house which houses around 250 species of cactus. The orchids and cactus in this park has been collected from various places around the country. Padamchen is a small village on the Silk Route circuit at a distance of 14 km from Rongli and 10 km from Zuluk. The hamlet lies at an altitude of 7000 ft and is surrounded by dense forests. The place experiences pleasant weather throughout the year which is one of the main reasons behind its increasing popularity among tourists. Padamchen is also a bird watcher's paradise. Junagadh

Junagadh is a historical town in the Indian state of Gujarat. The city lies at the foot of the Girnar hills at a distance of 376 km from Ahmedabad. Samabeong is the latest addition to tea tourism destinations in Darjeeling district of West Bengal. The tea estate was established in the year 1882 with the British as its pioneers. In 1990, Samabeong Tea Estate was acquired by a new company which showed a ray of hope among the tea workers and their family. The Samabeong Tea Garden is situated at an altitude of 6500 ft with lush green tea plantations covering the gentle slopes of the area. The natural beauty of Samabeong is mesmerizing. Due to lack of publicity, the place is still unexplored and unspoiled. Various kinds of birds and butterflies are also seen at Samabeong.

Pakke Tiger Reserve

Pakke Tiger Reserve is situated in East Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. The forest lies at the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas and covers an area of 862 sq km. There are about 27 villages in and around the jungle which are inhabited by the tribal people. Around 60 species of mammals including tiger, elephant, clouded leopard, hog deer, wild dog, capped langur, sambar and Himalayan black bear are residents of the Pakke Tiger Reserve. The Pakke Tiger Reserve is also home to 296 species of birds. The forest is well known for the sightings of the Great Hornbill, Oriental Pied Hornbill, Wreathed Hornbill and Rufous-necked Hornbill. Saranda

Saranda is a dense forest in the hilly regions of Jharkhand. The forest is situated at a height of 2000 ft and there are 700 hills in this area.
