Kunzum

Kunzum Pass is a high mountain pass located in the Eastern Kunzum Range of the Himalayas. The Kunzum Pass lies at an altitude of 4551 m above sea level and connects the Lahaul Valley with the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh. The sky blue backdrop with the mesmerizing view of the Bara-Sigri and Chota-Sigri Glaciers makes Kunzum a heaven for tourists. There is a temple dedicated to Kunzum Mata which is a must see. A 8 km trek from the Kunzum Pass leads one to the Chandratal Lake which is situated at a height of 14,100 ft. The best time to visit Kunzum Pass is during the months of June to September.

The nearest major railway station is Kalka. Kalka enjoys excellent rail connectivity with Delhi and other parts of the country. Toy trains, buses and cars are available from Kalka to reach Shimla. Hired cars are available from Shimla to reach Kaza. Kunzum is 78 km from Kaza.

Tyda

Tyda is a delightful tourist destination located in the Eastern Ghats region of Andhra Pradesh. The place is situated in a calm and peaceful environment surrounded by trees and forests. At a height of 1520 ft above sea level, Tyda offers amazing views of the undulating hills and lush greenery of the Eastern Ghats. The Visakhapatnam-Kirandul rail line is also visible from the hill top. The picturesque Tyda Railway station is worth seeing. Adventure lovers can go for a 12 km trek to Katiki Waterfalls. Kewzing

Kewzing is a small village located 5 km from Ravangla in South Sikkim. Situated at an altitude of 4600 ft, the village is mostly inhabited by the Bhutia tribes. The scenic view of Mt. Narsing and Kabru mountain range is probably the main attraction of the place. There are a number of monasteries in and around the village which are worth seeing. You can also visit the Ralang Monastery, Tibetan Carpet Centre and Rayong Sunrise Point. Another great attraction of Kewzing is the Rangit Water World and the Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary. At Rangit Water World, one can go for river rafting, boating or just picnic on the banks of the Rangit Dam. The view of the lush green valleys of Sikkim from Kewzing is amazing. Kewzing is also a paradise for bird watchers.

Aru Valley

Aru Valley is located at a distance of 12 km from Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. The place is also called Aru Reserved Forest. It lies at an altitude of 2690 m above sea level. The scenic beauty of the valley is mesmerizing. Aru Valley offers a stunning view of the snow capped mountain peaks. The view of the lush green valley of West Lidder river is awe inspiring. There are several waterfalls which add to the beauty of the place. You can also take a horse ride to Kolohoi Glaciers, 36 km from Aru Valley. The Kolohoi Glaciers is the source of the Lidder river.

Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary

Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Baragarh district of Odisha. It spans over an area of 347 sq km. The sanctuary is situated in a calm and pleasing environment at a distance of 50 km from the town of Sambalpur. The vegetation primarily consists of mixed deciduous trees and shrubs. Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary is home to a variety of wildlife including tiger, leopard, elephant, sloth bear, sambar, chital, gaur and Nilgai. Since the sanctuary lies in close proximity to the Hirakud Dam, it attracts a number of migratory birds such as Crested Serpent Eagle and Chousingha. Mugger crocodiles and turtles also reside in this forest.
