Nalhati is a town in Birbhum district of West Bengal. The main attraction of Nalhati is the Nalateshwari Temple. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Parvati. It is one among the 51 Shakti Peeths. It is believed that Sati's throat had fallen at this place. There is a tiny hill behind the temple which houses the Ana Baba Mazar Sharif. From the top of the hill, one can get a view of the distant Rajmahal Hills.
