Lepakshi is an offbeat pilgrim destination in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. The name Lepakshi is derived from the words Le meaning Fly and Pakshi meaning Bird. The main attraction of Lepakshi is the Birbhadra Temple. The temple was constructed during the reign of the Bijoynagar Kings in 1538 A.D. This temple hosts the largest Mural Painting in Asia.
